North Texas Giving Day

  • Kramer Elementary PTA 7131 Midbury Dr Dallas, TX, 75230 United States (map)

Kramer fosters students to have a respect and appreciation for all cultures and equip them with the resources they need to successfully compete within a 21st century community, so that they are prepared to change the world through both their IB curriculum and Spanish immersion programs.

This year, Kramer Elementary is will be using funds from NTGD to invest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) enrichment opportunities both off and on campus. This is a return to some of the high quality programs we have done in years past, where on campus learning turned into at home academic enrichment coordinated by PTA but funded by us, the generous Kramer community!

STEAM enrichment opportunities are a great way to foster experiential learning as field trips or on campus enrichment and provide students with the opportunity to witness the learning concepts in reality. They also give a chance for students to encounter different aspects of the learning concepts that they might not have had an opportunity to do so elsewhere. These experiences could also have a huge influence in their future career choices.

Some of the STEAM programs we would like to see return would include, but are not limited to: Perot Tech Truck, Drum CafΓ©, David Chicken, Mother Goose, DMA, Dallas Zoo, Dairy Farmers, Frontiers of Flight Museum, Indoor Planetarium, Author Visits, Hey Dude.

We are asking for you to partner with the Kramer IB World School PTA to raise $10,000 to make this a reality.

As a PTA, we have a team of involved parents that support Kramer initiatives and programs both with our time, talents and resources to ensure a welcoming IB community.   We know it takes a whole community to create an environment where a whole child can thrive. Every supporter, parent, teacher and administrator is on this journey and contributes to the success of both the individual student and corporate school.
