tradition of excellence

Since 1956, Arthur Kramer Elementary School has had a long tradition of excellence in teaching and learning in the North Dallas area. As a Texas Education Agency Exemplary and Recognized school, Kramer provides a solid foundation for our students’ future academic success and achievement. In addition to providing a rigorous and challenging curriculum throughout the school day, we are committed to offering a variety of extracurricular, hands-on opportunities for our students.

Our Principal, Ms. Katherine Wanserski, began her tenure at Kramer in 2014. Ms. Wanserski joins us from Boston, Massachusetts where she previously worked as a Head of School at a turnaround elementary school.  She feels so lucky to return to Dallas and work with the dedicated staff, students, and parents here at Kramer Elementary.  She continues to build even stronger partnerships with our parents and community.

She, along with our excellent teachers and staff, are dedicated to providing a positive and caring learning environment for all of our Kramer Colts. Our incredibly talented and devoted teachers expect the best from our students daily, and are committed to instructional innovation, research-based best practices, and the latest instructional tools to ensure students’ success.

Kramer elementary PTA

Established in 1989, the Kramer Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is an active, vibrant extension of Kramer Elementary. Our collective energies bring events such as Fall Carnival, fun runs, Field Day and many more. Our various committees offer many opportunities for you to participate and continue providing Kramer with funds for literacy materials, instructional technology, and real field experiences for all of our Kramer Colts.
