Kramer Elementary feeds into Benjamin Franklin International Exploratory Academy, which is part of the Hillcrest High School Feeder Pattern. BFIEA is proud to offer the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) to ALL students enrolled at their campus.
The IB program aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the organization works with schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment. These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right. The goal at BFIEA is to provide a balanced and rigorous education for each and every student. As IB educators, they strive to cultivate students who are open-minded, inquiring, and caring world citizens who will, one day, shape a more peaceful world through intercultural awareness and understanding. As such, students will be given a safe educational environment that empowers them to effectively communicate ideas, take informed risks, and reflect on their knowledge.
Advanced Academics
Students have the opportunity to take Physics, Algebra, French, Spanish, Korean, PreAP courses, College & Career Readiness, Professional Communication, Orchestra, Robotics, and LCC, along with a variety of other academically rigorous courses.
Extra Curricular Activities
Outside of the classroom, BFIEA students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs and sports.
Clubs: Student Council, E-Sports, Chess, Gaming, Debate, Cheer, Math Team, Destination Imagination, UIL, and Ping Pong.
β’ Sports: Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Baseball, Cross Country, Track, and Soccer.
